My yoga lessons are open to all. I encourage beginners to enter slowly and I accompany them with special attention. I do not understand my yoga class as a competition of the most difficult positions - yet I challenge the participants.
I like to describe my style as "sensible yoga" and regularly remind participants during the lesson to listen to their own bodies. The yoga class should be a positive experience where we find clarity and calmness. We therefore regularly focus on the breath. This way we learn to work efficiently, healthily and can perceive how the brain acts/reacts, allowing us to appreciate being in the moment and in the body.
I have been practicing yoga in various forms for more than 40 years and have been teaching regularly since 2001. My teaching style is not static and is constantly evolving.
I also teach for the Academic Sports Association of Zurich.

"I have no guru and am not an orthodox follower of any particular school. A healthy mix of strength and flexibility, a focus on discovering and enjoying the experience, and some measure of seeing the big picture are important aspects of my yoga and how I teach."
